In 2011, Nike released the Nike Mag 2011, but without self-lacing capabilities. On October 21st, 2015, Nike has plans on unveiling the shoe in its original form. It has been confirmed that the shoes will release in 2016, with all proceeds going to Parkinson's disease research.
